May drudge
So, it has been quite some time since I last wrote... if I had big news, I'd have shared it... but in reality music is just slow going, like molasses. I don't even like molasses.
I still have not booked a single college gig for my big fall tour. Certainly, I've been trying... more recently I have been trying to book gigs in the locales where I have weddings to attend this summer: Orange City, IA, and Atlanta, GA. (I know, random combo.) That isn't yielding much either --- but I haven't given up yet. I'm finding, though, that you can't just point at a place on a map and then go to a database that lists all the easy-to-get-booked-at-coffeehouses-that-also-have-pianos. Such a database does not exist. But really, I don't need a sound system. I'll take someone's living room.
Where is a divine plan in this? I'm not questioning God's involvement but I am questioning my own motives. I'm tired of feeling desperate.

It is a very discouraging business. Hang in there, hang in there. GIve me a call sometime.
Hey Rachel - I live in Athens GA, about an hour out of Atlanta. There's a lot of clubs here, although I don't know about the piano thing. Let me know if there's a way I can help you look for a place.
